Farmer

As you can see by the post date that I started this post in July. That's how fast the summer went. Now I'm just trying to tie up lose ends before the holidays.
James 5:7-8

So be patient, brethren,(as you wait) till the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land. (See how) he keeps up his patient(vigil)over it until it receives the early and late rains. So you also must be patient. Establish your hearts(strengthen and confirm them in the final certainty), for the coming of the Lord is very near.

Well here it is with Thanksgiving in less than a week away. Today I was finally able to go to my garden and begin the clean up process, so that it can be plowed and sown with winter grass to replenish the soil for next springs planting.
In spite of drought conditions I was given a plenteous harvest. The seed was protected and preserved
I certainly learned alot from the garden this year. The natural and spiritual working together with the Holy Spirit as my teacher and counselor and guide. Boy did I need wisdom for the challenges I encountered in order for patience to have her perfect work. Brother James was a constant source of help through out the growing season.
